Probably when you were first adding a link, you noticed that there was a category option. I’ll show you how to make a new category
How do I add a link Category?
- Log in to your administration page. ie. “http://yourUrl.com/wp-admin”
- Click Links
- Click Link Categories
- In the Name type the name of the category
- Feel free to change other category options
- Click the Add Category button

Out of the box, WordPress is great, but plugins can make it even better. Here are WordPress Plugins I deem necessary for any WordPress Installation.
This plug in generates a XML-Sitemap of your WordPress blog. This will make it easier for search engines like Google, MSN, and Yahoo! to index your pages. This is very important!
Spam Karma will save you from all the comment abusers. Believe me there is a ton. Save yourself the trouble and install this plugin.
Displays a number of recently posted entries into your sidebar. Very Nice to have.
Displays a list of related posts which as you can certainly understand is very important.
